Hi everyone,
It's been a long time since I posted in here. Since I became moderator
of the COOKING (National Cooking Echo) echo, I have been busy with it
... and I am now moderator of HOME_COOKING again. :D
So what's the difference between COOKING and HOME_COOKING?
COOKING is a more formal echo where the concentration is on conversation
about cooking and life in general. No discussion of alcohol except for
its uses in cooking and consumption during eating is allowed. Up to 20 messages per day per person is codified in the echo rules.
HOME_COOKING is more relaxed where there is no restriction on the number
of messages you may post in a day. The discussion of homebrewing beer
and alcohol is allowed as well as is the discussion of alcohol in
cooking.
The discussion of alcohol in other pretexts is not allowed in either
echo as is the discussion of herbs outside of cooking useage. Illegal substances as defined by US federal law is not allowed.
I am also the moderator of the RECIPES echo but I will be shuttering it
soon as it is only carried by a few systems.
So I would encourage you lurkers to post in here and take a look at the COOKING echo also.
Thanks for your participation in HOME_COOKING!
-- Sean
P.S. I will have rules posted in here sometime soon.
