    Does the MSGID in this one break anything?

    A simple test message won't give you the answer to that.
    You will have to ask every node in the fidonet nodelist,
    to know for sure... ;)

    At least the automated systems connected to this echo will speak
    for themselves to a certain degree. ;)

    It fails the eyeball test (the "serial no" field is not made of hexadecimal characters) - but it doesn't break anything with Synchronet
    or SBBSecho which treats the entire message-ID as an opaque string of text. --

    I like the phrase "opaque string of text". The FTSC should
    adopt that!
